Role overview

We are hiring a Junior Emarketing Consultant to support the implementation of the Emarketing strategy of a major retail chain in Mauritius.

If you have successfully supported traffic acquisition campaigns and conversion optimisation for renowned brands this is a unique opportunity to work alongside ecommerce and digital marketing experts within a major retail account.

This is an important client-facing role requiring proven Emarketing and ecommerce experience, preferably within a retail environment. You will join an international team of seasoned ecommerce and Emarketing consultants, based out of our new Mauritius office.

Role description

Working within the marketing department of our client in Port Louis under the management of a Senior Emarketing Consultant, you will:

  • Support the implementation of SEO/SEM, direct Emarketing, social media and display advertising campaigns
  • Support the social media and physical store online presence design
  • Assist the execution and measurement of A/B and multivariate testing
  • Improve conversion rate and optimise sales funnel
  • Implement the Emerchandising strategy
  • Set performance metrics and reports for all E-Marketing campaigns, and assess attainment (KPIs and ROI)
  • Support the implementation of new digital marketing tools and solutions
  • Assist and guide internal teams
  • Collaborate with and drive agencies and vendor partners

You should have a proven track record implementing emarketing technics and tactics in an ecommerce environment, with minimum supervision and under tight timelines.

Must-have requirements

  • Hands-on Digital Marketing experience within the Mauritius market 
  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field
  • Experience in setting up and leading outbound Media campaigns
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
  • Experience in optimising landing pages and sales funnel
  • Experience in A/B and multivariate experimentation
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Current knowledge of Emarketing & Media trends and best practices

Other requirements

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience within a consulting firm or digital agency would be a plus
  • Project management experience and good stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communications in French and English
