  • 3 – 5 years’ of Business process experience in a banking environment 
  • Minimum of 3 years within a management consulting firm

Role description

Working alongside other Banking, Ecommerce, Digital Marketing & Customer Experience experts, you will support the implementation of online banking projects with established banks and financial institutions in the region.

Facilitating each key phase of the implementation, you act as a consultant where you gather the requirements of the project, partner with the UX to design in congruence with the client teams processes and policies, as you guide and assist them and their partners to effectively deliver all business, operational and technological work streams, from kick-off through to testing and launch of the project or project stream you are supporting.

By facilitating decision making and advising teams in their deliveries, you will drive high levels of internal confidence.

  • Process Design
    • Managing process design projects
    • Banking business process analysis and documentation
    • Develop ‘as is’ and ‘to be’ process maps
    • Business process modelling tools
    • Capability assessment
    • Supporting in the development of Target Operating Model design
  • Change Management
    • Support in business readiness
    • Development of change management strategy
    • Development of change management plan
    • Support with training and communication material
  • Programme Management support
    • Project management delivery and PMO

  • Fellow consultants
  • Mid and Senior members on client side
  • 3rd party vendors

Additional skills and competencies

  • Fluency in English is a must
  • Experience working and managing conversations with senior clients
  • Facilitate decision making processes
  • Solid understanding of IT processes
  • Ability to influence without having the decision making authority 

What the day to day work looks like

  • Regular workshops with internal and external clients’ teams
  • Support communication amongst stakeholders
  • Support management of dependencies of programme
  • Facilitate the discovery of the programme
  • Support management of 3rd party relationships
  • Support the monitoring of the approval of the program
  • Liaise with other project managers, and report on the delivery of the project status 
  • Willing to travel within the Middle East and Africa

In summary, this is primarily a supporting banking consulting role with project management as part of the responsibilities and accountabilities. Selection of candidates for interviews will be driven first and foremost by the number of successfully delivered online banking projects.
